Dorothy's Dance Shop Policies

All orders will be shipped out the next business day by way of UPS. Any items out of stock will be shipped to you as soon as it arrives, unless otherwise specified by you. Occasionally, some items are on backorder and it may take longer than anticipated to fill an order. In this case, you will be notified of the situation, and we will update you regularly on the status of the item as the information becomes available to us. Feel free to contact us at any time to verify or check on the status of your order.

Shipping & Handling Rates

(Continental United States Only)

All orders are shipped out by way of UPS at the rates listed below:

UPS Ground: $9.75 for the first item, $1.00 for each additional item

UPS 2nd-Day Air: $17.00 for the first item, $.2.00 for each additional item

UPS Next-Day Air: $33.00 for the first item, $4.00 for each additional item

International rates will be determined by size and weight of shipment.

All backorders will be shipped out at a reduced rate of $6.00 for the first item and $.75 for each additional item. All backorders under $10.00 will be shipped out at no shipping charge. Backorders requested to ship out other than UPS Ground at any dollar amount will be charged the standard shipping rates listed above.

Returns/Exchanges

With the exception of packaged tights and dance belts, we will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 30 days under the following conditions:

  1. A) All items must be clean, free of odor and hair, and show absolutely no signs of wear. Also, all tags must be attached and/or it must include the original undamaged box or packaging.
  2. B) Packaged tights and dance belts are considered intimate apparel and cannot be returned or exchanged for health reasons.
  3. C) The original or a legible copy of receipt must accompany return/exchange.
  4. D) Exchanges must accompany a reshipping fee of $6.00 for the first item and $.75 for each additional item.
  5. E) Items that are considered “Special Order” are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged except in cases of defective workmanship or shipping error.

All returns or exchanges must be sent postage paid in a box that protects the returned item and the original packaging or box of the product.

Online Prices

The prices available through our website are up to 25% below suggested retail pricing. Clearance Prices can be up to 75% off original sales price. Product availability vary from our retail stores. Prices advertised on this site are not the same as our in-store prices due to overhead costs. Please visit our store locations to view a larger selection of products, promotions, and fashion merchandise that is not available on this site.Prices are subject to change.
